Travelodge is recognized worldwide as a leading brand in the midscale limited service segment. Globally there are approximately 1000 Travelodge-branded hotels across North America, Europe and Australasia.

Headquartered in Singapore, Travelodge Hotels Asia Pte Ltd ("TLA") is responsible for the development of Travelodge hotels in Asia. Through multiple options including acquisition, lease, management and franchise, TLA is looking to further expand the brand’s presence throughout Asia.

The following are the various models of partnerships that we operate on. We are also open to discuss any other joint venture arrangements that are mutually beneficial.

1. Franchise Agreements

Travelodge licenses its brand to the owner, who is responsible for the operation of the hotel and compliance with Travelodge brand standards.

2. Master Franchise Agreements

Country Master Franchise arrangements are possible where a local hotel management company or hotel investor is awarded the master franchise rights to operate and manage hotels under all of the Travelodge brands in a country.

3. Management Contracts

Travelodge assists in the construction or refurbishment, and subsequently manages the hotel on behalf of the owner or developer.

4. Manchise Agreements

Hybrid of management contract and franchise agreements which may differ on a case-by-case basis.

5. Lease

Travelodge leases the hotel from the owner, in a typical landlord-tenant relationship.

6. Acquisition of Freehold or Leasehold Assets

This could be existing operational hotels, brownfield sites for conversion or greenfield projects for development

7. Mergers and Acquisitions

Our team is also equipped to manage acquisition of existing hotel management companies of scale.
