Summary

Travelodge Hotels Asia is inviting agencies to submit proposals for the development and implementation of a Chain and Property Content Management System and Mobile Application integrated with Central Reservation System, Customer Relationship Management, Internet Booking Engine and other Systems.

Interested agencies are to submit their proposals by 21th October 2020 before 5pm.

Brief Background of Travelodge Hotels Asia (TLA)

Headquartered in Singapore, TLA, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SGX-listed ICP Ltd, is responsible for the management and franchising of Travelodge hotels across Asia. Globally, there are approximately 1,000 Travelodge branded hotels across North America, Europe, Australia and Asia. TLA focuses on mid-scale hotels that are designed and operated for the savvy traveller. For guests who want to experience the world and feel the real pulse of a city, Travelodge hotels in Asia are situated in the centre of the action with unrivalled locations, providing thoughtfully designed rooms, convenient amenities and undisputedly comfortable beds for the best travel experience. TLA currently operates hotels in key gateway cities namely, Hong Kong, Seoul, Bangkok, Singapore, Indonesia, Kuala Lumpur and Penang, and will have new hotel openings in the near future in Vietnam.

  5. Uploading the translated content to the website (Translations will be provided by TLA)
  6. Dynamic Hotel Rates: integrated with CRS
  7. Stock Images – please quantify
  8. Image optimization and compression
  9. Quality assurance cycle to identify the technical matters and user interaction flow
  10. Vulnerability assessment and penetration (VAPT) testing with Acunetix https://www.acunetix.com/, manual validation against false positives, fix crucial identified issues, rescan to confirm fixes and provide VAPT Report.
  11. Release of the site for UAT and do the minor adjustments before the live release
  12. Live release and post launch testing

General Requirements

  1. Mobile First Design
  2. CMS Website to be mobile responsive and tested across browsers and various devices resolutions
  3. Display site language based on user’s browser’s locale. Language required: English, Simplified Chinese, Indonesian and Korean
  4. Standardise currency format shown on site, currency format to be shown based on user’s IP address.
  5. CMS has the ability to support translation through API.
  6. Ability to support animated content and video on corporate and property homepage.
  7. Ability to include a location map with pins for hotel within the same destination – cross-selling on the chain website.
  8. Offer page – TLA wide vs Cluster wide vs. individual hotels (room, meeting/events and F&B).
  9. Ability to feature key offers on homepage.

Member login

Visitors can register themselves as member to view member’s rate or visitors can sign in to their loyalty member portal aka CRM. If user is a CRM user, they will be logged into their CRM member profile. If the visitor is not a CRM user, they will only be able to see their saved profile in the CRS.

For a visitor that is NOT a CRM user:

  1. User enter the website e.g. room page and they are able to see the public rate pulled from booking engine as well as a message saying login to view member’s rate.
  2. There is module on the website that allows user to sign up as member to see the member’s rate. Member’s rate is pulled from the booking engine.
  3. There is a module to allow existing users to sign in to view & book member rate.

SEO-Focus

Submission

Interested agencies are to submit the following items together with their proposals :

  1. Full cost breakdown, specifying one-time charge and recurring costs
  2. Profiles of the company and the project team
  3. List of past projects and clientele list
  4. Other value-added services

The proposals are to be submitted to : itq@travelodge-hotels.com with email subject as “ITQ Distribution Framework Proposal”.

Proposals are to be submitted no later than 21th October 2020 5pm.

Terms and Conditions

  • Due to the nature of the ITQ, Travelodge Hotels Asia may only be able to respond to shortlisted agencies
  • Travelodge Hotels Asia reserves the right to accept or reject sections of the proposal when awarding the project to the successful agency
  • Travelodge Hotels Asia reserves the right to change the scope of work specifications within reasonable limits
  • Travelodge Hotels Asia reserves the right to the working files and source codes of the development upon full payment
  • Travelodge Hotels Asia shall be under no obligation to accept the proposal with the lowest quote.
  • Agency is required to treat all information shared on this project with strict confidentiality.
